Info

This course provides a comprehensive overview of health and wellness. The impact of lifestyle choices on all aspects of personal health are discussed including physical, mental, emotional, social, and environmental factors. The course will explore topics related to nutrition, physical fitness, stress management, disease prevention, substance abuse, and healthy relationships. Students will also receive information and skills necessary for making informed and healthful decisions to promote wellness with an emphasis on decision-making. This course is fully remoteStudents must attend the fisrt day of the virtual session in person.

TUITION

In-District Student Fee - $175.00  |  In-District Pre-Approved Reduced Fee - $60  |  In-District Pre-Approved Zero Fee - $0  |  Out-of-District Student Fee - $250.00

Course payments are due at the time of registration. Payments will be made electronically via the Revtrak Summer School system.  Families with existing accounts can login and pay at the time of registration.  Families with accounts set up by MHS will receive login information prior to April 1st. Refunds will not be issued starting one month before the course starts.

ATTENDANCE

Session 1 - Classes will be held remotely Monday through Thursday from June 3 to June 27, 2024.  No class June 19th, 2024.  

Session 2 - Classes will be held remotely Monday through Thursday from July 1 to July 25, 2024.  No class July 4th, 2024.

Non-participation in any Summer School course will count against the Summer School absence policy. Two (2) days of absence will result in a failing grade.   

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is available for summer school academic courses. Students must register for classes and transportation by April 30th for Session 1 and May 31st for Session 2 in order to to guarantee transportation availability.

REFUNDS

If a course is canceled, students will be given the opportunity to switch to another course with available openings or to receive a course fee refund. No refunds will be made unless the class is officially canceled due to insufficient enrollment.
